Kathy has been responsible for the management and supervision of programs at the Early Learning Connections for 23 years.  She is currently the Director of the Bon Aire Site.   She previously served as the Special Services Coordinator and Early Head Start Program Manger 

Kathy Graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education and then earned a Specialized Diploma of Leadership for Early Childhood Education Program Directors from Northampton County Area Community College. She is a PA Keys to Professional Development Certified Instructor and a Certified Pre-K CLASS Observer.

Mrs. Queen began employment with Early Learning Connections in 2005 as an Assistant Group Supervisor in the Infant/Toddler room. She moved up to Program Leader of the Infant/Toddler room before becoming an Early Head Start Parent Educator which she enjoyed for several years. Heather is currently the Home Based Program Manager supervising the Early Head Start and Head Start Parent Educators. Heather graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 20 years’ experience working with infant and toddlers.

Dr. Glew started her career as an educator in 1988 as a preschool teacher. She was employed by Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV as a school psychologist and thereafter a special education supervisor in Early Intervention.  Dr. Glew recently retired from the Intermediate Unit after 24 years of service. She is delighted to continue working in the field of early childhood education with the Early Learning Connections children, families, and staff.

Dr. Glew graduated from Carlow College with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Her Master’s degree in Special Education and School Psychology certificate were completed at Duquesne University, where she later earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2012. Dr. Glew and her husband are native Pittsburghers who relocated to Butler in 1993. They have an adult daughter who graduated from Butler High School and now attends Pennsylvania State University

Beth Ann Glew, Ed.D 

Executive Director of Early Learning Programs

​​Elisa has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and Early Childhood Education from Seton Hill University and a M. Ed. from California University in Special Education.  She started her professional career at Westmoreland Community Action in 1992 as the Director of Community Services.  In 2001 Elisa went to Family Behavioral Resources to manage the BHRS services at the Monroeville site, then later to Milestone Centers Inc. as the Director of Children’s Services.  Prior to her appointment as the CEO of Early Learning Connections, she acted as the CEO of Seton Hill Child Services.    Elisa enjoys outdoor activities, snow skiing, golf, and spending time with her family. ​​

Emily started as Family Engagement /ERSEA Director with Early Learning Connections in February of 2018.  Emily is no stranger to ELC.  She started out as a babysitter for parent meetings when she was in high school, worked in the office and summer fun daycare program in college, and then again as a site assistant and office staff after graduating.  Emily has spent the past 14 years working as a clinician and manager for a mental health provider in Butler County.

Emily has her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s degree in Special Education from Slippery Rock University.  Emily lives in the Butler area with her husband, son and daughter. 

Paul Terek, MBA 

Director of Finance

Mrs. Hillebrand has been with Early Learning Connections since 2009.  She has over 20 years experience working with preschool age children.  She has also held a variety of Pre-K through 6th grade teaching positions in a variety of settings.  Knowledge gained throughout years of experience have prepared her to  hold various positions at Early Learning Connections such as Program Manager, Practice Based Coach, as well as, her current Position as Quality Assurance/Health and Nutrition Director.  


Mrs. Hillebrand earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from McNeese State University in Louisiana.  She is also a CLASS certified observer as well as a Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) with Preschool Certificate of reliability.

Mrs. Feth joined Early Learning Connections in December of 2019.  Mrs. Feth holds a M.S. in Human Resources from La Roche College as well as her SHRM CP Certification.  She obtained her B.S. from Slippery Rock University.  Prior to beginning at Early Learning Connections, Mrs. Feth held various HR positions in the Pittsburgh area.


​Kelly started her career teaching for Lawrence County Head Start in 2002 in a Head Start/Child Care full day full year collaboration. She then moved into center based child care and school age programming as the director of the New Castle Community Y and most recently started a new center at the Buhl Club in Sharon, PA. Kelly graduated from Clarion University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and dual concentrations in Special Education and Science. While with Head Start she obtained her Child Development Associates (CDA) degree and completed her Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University and her PA Directors Credential from North Hampton College.

Kelly was born and raised in New Castle, PA and currently lives in Sharon, PA with her husband Corey, two boys, Roger and Corey and her dog Ginger. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, drawing and loves to cook and bake. She is very excited to be part of the Early Learning Connections team and is looking forward to working with all the classroom staff, children and families. ​

Mr. Terek has worked at Early Learning Connections since 1984.  Prior to Early Learning Connections, Paul worked 16 years in various accounting positions at the Corporate Headquarters for AK Steel in Middletown, OH.

Mr. Terek has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration/Finance from Xavier University.
